Everything you’ve said about Mirrors Edge is true. I really liked the aesthetic and gameplay, when it all worked.

Sadly, the game was ruined for me by some remarkably irritating collision detection issues. After about the 15th time jumping directly at the drainpipe I needed, bouncing off and falling to my death, I gave up on the game. When it die, it breaks the flow, the immersion, the RUSH of it all. After the 3rd of 4th instance of this kind of issue, the shock of being jarred out of the game by a physics bug was no longer bearable.

1. When I said “Super street fighter IV Arcade edition” I meant “Super street Fighter IV 3D edition”…. Scrub mistake? No, I just have a stupid mouth and a lazy brain.

2. As per always I’ve judged the game a little too hastily, it’s actually surprisingly playable, look forward to a post about it soonish, imaginary readers.
